Honk restaurant situated at Pullman, New Delhi Aerocity is a bistro-style fine dining destination offering a contemporary Asian menu. The food is inspired by the popular street-style cuisine in Asia generally and the d้cor and presentation are distinctly natural. The menu is creatively prepared to showcase culinary influences from the diverse regions of Asia, majorly Japanese, Chinese, Vietnam, Thailand and Singaporean as well as a touch of Indonesian. The large 122 seats (84 indoors) restaurant’s elegant table setting with the colorful d้cor overlooks an open sushi counter anchored by tall Thai artefacts.

Chocolate caramel peanut parfait.

SERVICE
The presentation of the meal is fantastic but the same can’t be said of the service. The service in this restaurant is average and really needs to improve to match the food.

AMBIENCE
The contemporary setting and overtly Pan-Asian theme, Bamboo and brass elements with candle lights all across the restaurant coupled with dim lighting enkindle a relaxed dining ambience. It’s luxurious but the seating is compact.

FOOD
The variety is most impressive and you are bombarded with a plethora of scrumptious choices. The menu at Honk is designed with culinary influences from South East Asia and is divided broadly into Raw & Nibbles, Soups, Rolls, Vegetarian, Tempura, Steamed, Sashimi, and Skewers. The food journey includes rolls made with asparagus and avocado; Stuffed Wings with Thai Herbs; Amuse Bouche; Dim Sum of a chili bean and radish filling wrapped up in glass noodle pockets; Steamed Jasmine Rice; Kimchi Fried Rice with Edamame and crispy chorizo, Asian Green Broth with Khao suey soup; the ‘Exotic Asian Vegetables in Brown Chilli Garlic Sauce’;Asparagus and spicy tuna rolls, Som Tum salad, Pad Thai noodles, Mapo Tofu curry ; Veg fried rice, dumplings; Softshell Crab rolls, The Truffled Salmon rolls etc. There are wide selection of drinks and wine pairing to wash down your meal.

Their interiors are classy, modern and very attractive. The menu is extensive and dining here is nothing but a memorable experience. Honk is an expensive entity so be ready to go home with a thin wallet when you dine there.
